Based in Holliston, Massachusetts, Ronald Hovsepian serves as the CEO of Skillsoft, a New Hampshire technology firm. His team assists companies in implementing online learning programs that enable more productive workforces. Previously serving as CEO of Indigo Ag, he oversaw the growth of the first-ever US company to provide a significant number of registry-approved agricultural carbon credits. With 175 farmers participating, Ronald Hovsepian’s team sold credits to companies that included New Belgium Brewing and JPMorgan Chase. The result was sustained revenue growth and significant venture funding within a challenging environment.
Ron Hovsepian earned his marketing degree at Boston College in the early 1980s and held leadership responsibilities with IBM for many years. Starting as a sales representative, he ultimately accepted a role as general manager, global industries. Working with clients in sectors such as consumer-packaged goods manufacturing, wholesale, and retail, he delivered efficiency-boosting cloud, supply chain software, and point-of-sale solutions.
Ron Hovsepian has co-invented five technology patents across the decades, including a pair of patents related to secure data exchanges in Digital Rights Management. The other two center on managing the tokenization of sustainability credits.
